This month, we focus on learner/preceptor mutual orientation at the beginning of a learning shift. For those of us who have episodic teaching assignments, orienting to our learner’s context and goals is important to ensure a great experience for both the learner and preceptor.
This month, we focus on managing the oral case presentation after the learner has assessed a patient with a new complaint independently, a throwback to the classic One Minute Preceptor Model.
